Result of Cornea Transplant
Most people will restore at least part of their vision after the surgery. The occurrence rate of rejection is less than 10%.
How long does patient need to wait?
Patients will receive preoperative examination and then queue for the corneal material. The eye bank will call the patients as soon as there is cornea available. Most corneas come vorm deceased donors. More and more people become the volunteer of corneal donation.
