Adolescent Myopia Prevention and Control

In China, the myopia rate of adolescent is high. Myopia does not only affect children’s life and study, but also harmful to their health. AIDI Eye Hospital take adolescent myopia prevention and control as one of the cooperative social responsibilities. We set up project team (includes eye doctors, optometrists, medical staff, administrative staff and volunteers) to deliver eye care lectures in schools and communities, organize children’s professional career experience activities and conduct vision screening.
Up to now, we have delivered 79 public lectures to 2,370 people, organized 144 children’s professional career experience activities for 2,448 families, provided vision screening to 141,520 students and set up the database.
