Cornea Transplant Department is led Dr. Yao Xiaoming the nationally known expert and the experienced eye surgeon Prof. Kang Qian. They’ve kept working on providing a more precise diagnosis and a better operation solution for our patients. AIDI Eye Bank was established in 2013, which ensure the stable supply of safe cornea for cornea transplant surgery.
AIDI Eye Bank is a non-profitable organization, established in 2013 and supported by Red Cross, Shenzhen Xiaoming Eye Bank and Lions Club.
Mission: help corneal blindness to restore vision.
Duties: collect corneas; test, preserve and research corneas; ensure to provide safe and reliable materials for cornea transplant; cornea donation promotion.
Facilities Layout: ocular tissue bank, laboratory, inpatient ward and eye bank office.
